Quick and Cute Air Fryer Crustless Quiche

Quick & Cute Crustless Quiche (Made In 8 Minutes In Your Air Fryer!)

I have been making all kinds of eggs almost daily in my air fryer. I am going to try to share some of my favorites this week. I shall start with what I call a ‘fancy omelette’ also known as a crustless quiche. We do eat with our eyes first, so sometimes, it is nice to dress up your food.

😊Oh-So-Good👍

🔹Air Fryer Ramekin Quick & Cute Crustless Quiche🔹

(You could make this as an omelette, too!)

Air Fryer Crustless Quiche for 2 Quick Reference Guide

Air Fryer Crustless Quiche for 2 Quick Reference Guide for easy ‘fancy’ eggs! 7-8 minutes at 400 in your air fryer.

(to make the above image bigger, click on the circle image on the bottom of this post)

You’ll need to adjust your ingredients, and possibly the cooking time, for the size and type of ramekin you use. My ramekins are big ones as I only wanted to buy them once.

(They were bought a few years ago from Sur La Table with Chocolate Lava Cakes in mind)

A traditional quiche would have a crust & I may try one in the future, but I wanted to try a fancier version of an omelette I have made many times. I suppose these could be baked in an oven, but I am not sure of how long I would cook it…besides, no preheating with the air fryer.

🍳Recipe Serves 2🍳

🔹Air Fryer Ramekin Quick & Cute Crustless Quiche🔹

  • Prep time:  5 minutes
  • Cook time:  7-9 minutes @400, but always adjust time and temp to your own air fryer.

Ingredients:

  • 🥚6 oz egg whites
  • 🧀1 tbsp pecorino romano cheese
  • ▪️1/4 cup diced fresh scallions
  • 🔸1/4 cup diced asparagus (cooked is ideal or warm them in the air fryer for a few minutes prior to adding them to the egg mixture)
  • 🔹Pinch of salt
  • 🔸1/2 garlic clove, minced
  • 🥔1/2 cup of simply potatoes shredded hash browns (or just shred potatoes)
  • 🧀1/4 cup of Sargento Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese (trader joe’s lite mozz is less points if you have it handy)
  • 🍅1/4 cup diced fresh tomatoes

Instructions:

  1. Spray 2 Ramekins with canola or any non-stick spray
  2. Mix up egg whites, vegetables, potatoes, cheese, & seasonings.
  3. Bake in air fryer 7-8 minutes at 390-400.
  4. Let them sit in the air fryer for a few minutes after the timer goes off.
  5. Ramekins get EXTREMELY hot, so use caution picking these up & out of the basket.

4 Eggs Get the Air Fryer Test

Air Fryer “Eggs”periment: 4 Eggs Put To The Test 🍳

Here’s a bit about my Air Fryer “Eggs”periment!🍳

4 eggs put to the test in my new Farberware Air Fryer!  I think it is important to learn the basics of a new appliance before you branch out and try something fancy with it.  I am also on a mission to see if air fryers really live up to all the hype. Experimenting with all different kind of foods will tell me if this appliance will just be another gadget to me or will I not remember how I lived without it!

🥚Quick & Painless Eggs🥚

  1. Add Eggs to silicone egg cups
  2. 4-6 minutes at 400
  3. No oil!

👩‍🍳I feel that the 1 scrambled egg was the best, but all the eggs were so good! The baking cups crisp up the edges of the scambled the most. (always adjust cooking time to your particular machine).

The other eggs were: 1 oz egg whites, 1 oz egg whites with chives and red onions, 1 regular egg cracked directly into the silicone cup.

The air fryer seems like a great way to cook fresh food for a picky group of eaters. Egg cups can be made in a muffin tin in a regular oven, of course, but this was a fun ‘egg’speriment just in case you do not want to go to the trouble of turning the oven on.

✅I am starting to really like my air fryer. If this keeps up, I might be making plans to upgrade to a larger size so I can make more in each batch, but this size just might be enough…but I am glad I am ‘experimenting’ in this smaller one because clean up is quick & easy, like these eggs. 👍😊

Look for more Air Fryer Posts soon!  I am getting totally addicted to seeing what I can cook quickly & with a little extra crisp!  I am ‘egg’ceptionally pleased (pun intended) with these results.
